Wash the vegetables & cut them into small pieces.
Put all the vegetables, dal, salt, ½ tbsp turmeric powder and 3 to 4 cups of water in a Pressure Cooker on medium flame.
After two whistle switch off the gas & open the lid after some time.
Now heat 3 teaspoon of ghee oil in a frying pan.
Add jeera, mustard, bay leaves, chopped onions and 3-4 dry chilies.
Fry till they turn golden brown.
Put all the boiled vegetable & dal to the pan and stir well.
Add jeera powder and chili powder.
Now the dalma is ready. |
