Jharsuguda-23/07/2014 Due unavailability of water at Boys Hostel of Jharsuguda Engineering School today inmates of the hostel set in a protest on the campus of Jharsuguda Engineering School. They locked the entry & exit gate of the institute and set in protest demanding immediate restoration of water supply to the boy’s hostel.
It was reported that the inmates had earlier informed the authorities about the problem but it fell on deaf ear. After waiting for three days when problem was not sorted out they started the protest. Official and academic activities were briefly disturbed on the campus as the protest was peaceful.
It may be noted that Jharsuguda Engineering School is a premiere engineering institution of the sate established in 1955.
